The food was wonderful. We stayed one night as it is an expensive hotel but the afternoon tea with cakes, the breakfast and evening meal were very good. The garden was beautiful and looking out on to it as we ate was lovely. Thank you so much for sending on my nightie I left at the hotel.
Our room was right on the road and it was very noisy. The outside seating for the restaurant below our window was noisy with childten until about 8.30 and then the lorries started going past our window by 7am. The room needs secondary glazing whixh we have installed in our own home and it is now beautifully quiet.

Lovely friendly staff at the hotel and the gardens to the property were stunning - the whole place is really relaxing and we had a great stay. The small touches were what made this place special - a free morning paper, magazines available to read whilst relaxing on comfy chairs in the garden and bottled water for the trip home
The only tiny negative I can think of (and I'm being really picky) is that breakfast is only served til 9:30 which was a tad early and the two French waiters in the restaurant weren't as friendly as the rest of the lovely staff.
